Pink and white flowers!

Heylo!

Todays nails are these pretty pink blossoms on an aqua/peacock green base!

Heres how to get them on your nails:

1. First paint on a base coat to prevent your nails from staining.

2. Add 2 coats of green or any shade of nail colour you prefer.

3. Paint small petal shapes for the folower with some white acrylic paint.

4. Now add a little pink to the outer edges of the petals, blending it in with the white so that you get a nice gradient from pink to white.

4. Finally outline the petals with some black acrylic to define them and add some black and silver microbeads to the center of each flower and you're done!!

5. Add a layer of top coat to complete the look😄😄

Hope you liked it!

Fiery Hot Nail Art

Hey!! This hot nail art is really easy and quick to do, and looks incredible.

You can of course, use other colour of your choices, I loved the way these two colours complemented each other.

Procedure  :

Step 1  : Apply a base coat to prevent your nails from staining and also to protect them. I once applied this orange without a base coat and when I removed it, all my nails had turned orange and looked horrible.

Step 2  : Apply two coats of a pastel orange nail polish on all yous nails and let them dry.

Step 3  : With a reddish pink nail striper, or using a thin brush, paint on some thin stripes, radiating from the bottom right corner of your nails. Make sure each stripe tapers towards the end.

Step 4  : Take a silver glitter polish and dab on lightly at the corner alone, and also apply a red rhinestone while the polish is still wet.

Step 6  : Finally apply a layer of top coat to seal it all in, and you're done !!

All that glitters

This is an extremely easy nail art for beginners and people who find it hard to do any intricate designs on their nails!

All that is required are a glitter polish, a glitter striper and some small rhinestones! Here's the procedure>

Procedure :

Step 1  : Apply a base coat to prevent your nails from staining and also to protect them.

Step 2  : Apply a silvery glittery nail polish on all your nails. Usually the glittery polishes are quite translucent, so you might need 3 to 4 coats to get it opaque.

Step 3  : Take a gold glittery striper and draw a wavy line along the diagonal of your nail.

Step 4  : Use black and white rhinestones to create the flowers on the opposite corners. One one corner, place a black rhinestone at the corner and white rhinestones around it , on the opposite corner, place a white rhinestone at the center and surround it my black rhinestone.

Step 5  : Finish it off with a top coat to protect the stones as well as the design. And your done!!

Note : You might find it a little difficult to remove this design due to all that glitter, i suggest you soak some cotton in nail polish remover and place it on your nails for about two minutes, and then gently wipe it off. This works much better than repeatedly wiping without waiting.

Marbling without water

Hey everyone !!

I tried doing water marbling for a change but it didnt come out so well... so i decided to do it my way

You dont need water, tapes or any patience, just get a couple of colours of nail polishes, a toothpick and your ready !!

Procedure :

Step 1  :  Apply a base coat to prevent your nails from staining and protect them.

Step 2  : Take 2 or 3 of your favourite colour, they can either be different shades of the same colour like I've done here, or you can chose different colours.

Step 3  : Place 1 or blobs of the different colours on your nail, work on one nail at a time for this nail art.

Step 4  : Quickly using the toothpick, swirl the colour together, make sure you dont mix them too much, you want the individual colours to show through.

Step 5  : Since we've used a thick layer of nail polish, let it dry completely before you proceed. You can stop with this and add a top coat, or you can follow the additional steps.
Step 6  : I've added a layer of silver glitter polish , and placed a few stars to glam it up , but this is optional. You can add whatever you want, without overdoing it thereby loosing the marbling effect underneath.

Step 7  : Finish off with a top coat and your design's complete!! :)

Converse Nail Art - inspired by cutepolish

This is quite an old design but still looks cool when worn :)

I was inspired to do this design after watching cutepolish's video with a little modification, I've attached the link at the end of this post :)

PROCEDURE :

Step 1  : Apply a base coat to prevent your nails from staining and to protect them.

Step 2   : Take a piece of sellotape and stick it on the back of your hands for a few times to reduce the stickiness, and then apply it across the tip of your nail.

Step 3  : Now apply your desired colour for your converse on the whole of your nail

Step 4  : After the polish has dried, gently remove the sellotape.

Step 5  : Paint the remaining part of your nail white by painting horizontally across your nails.

Step 6  : Now take some silver nail polish and a using a dotting tool, draw two rows of dots along the length to create the holes.

Step 7  : Now repeat the same with a smaller dotting tool and black nail polish over the silver dots to give the holes some depth.

Step 8 : Using white nail polish, draw criss cross stripes to form the lace. (cutepolish would have done a continuous line, but I just felt this looked better, you can do whatever you like)

Step 9  : take some black nail polish and a thin striper brush and draw dotted lines along the curve of your tip to create the stiches.

Step 10  : Finally finish off with a top coat :)

Step 11  : As can be seen in the cutepolish video,  i have applied a french tip on the remaing nails with a thin stripe in the matching colour underneath it.

Romantic nail art with kisses :)

Hey :)
This romantic nail art has been done using the konad stamping kit :)
Here's how :

Procedure :

Step 1  : Apply a base coat to protect your nails and prevent them from staining.

Step 2  : Apply a light pink/lavender colour nail polish on all your nails

Step 3  : Next, after making sure that the base is completely dry, take your konad black special nail polish and konad plate no.m4

Step 4  : The design we will be using is the center one, leaving out the written "kiss me". You can do this by trying to avoid applying the polish over that area, or you can rub it off from your stamp before stamping ontp your nail.

Step 5  : Repeat stamping the lip mark all over your nails at regular intervals.

Step 6  : Once your satisfied, let the design dry, then apply a glitter polish over it.

Step 7  : Finish off with a regular or konad topcoat to seal in your design :)

Deep Blue and Green Gradient nail art with konad

This beautiful nail art can be done by can be easily done by following these simple steps :

Step 1:  Apply a base coat to prevent your nails from staining

Step 2:  Apply 2 coats of a royal blue shade

Step 3: When the blue is almost dry, dab some green onto a sponge and dab on the top half of your nails to achieve a gradient effect.

Step 4:  Apply a clear coat to blend the two colours together for a smoother gradient.

Step 5: Next, with konad silver special polish and plates m21(thumb and middle finger), m9 (ring finger) and m2(pinky) stamp the reqiured designs or the respective fingers.

Step 6: Finish off with a top coat to seal the design :)

Pink and black konad nail art with Rhinestone

Hey !! This design may look complicated, but its totally easy once you master your konad skills!!

Can be done on long or short nails!!

Procedure  :

Step 1  : Apply a base coat to protect your nails and prevent them from staining.

Step 2  : Apply pink (or any other colour you prefer) nail polish diagonally , at around 2/3rd of your nails. You can also use a cellophane tape to mark off the required area. (If your not sure how to do with the cellophane tape, details steps are given in the patchwork tutorial)

Step 3  : Next , after the pink has dried, using black konad special nail polish and konad plate no. m45, print the netted design along the diagonal of the nail polish. Try to align it as much as possible, but dont worry, it doesn't have to be perfect, we will be correcting the edge.

Step 4  : Now, using regular black polish or acrylic paint and a thin brush, draw a line along the upper and lower sides of the net to even it out.

Step 5  : Apply a tiny drop of clear nail polish at the bottom of the nail, at the opposite corner of the diagonal.

Step 6  : You can finish it at this stage, or if you want to fill in the top portion, you can stamp on some other small designs from your konad plates. Here I have used plates : m3 and m2.

Step 7  : Finally finish off with a top coat to seal your design and rhinestone :)
