In fond memory of Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam

Hi! This post is entirely dedicated to our  most beeloved former President Kalam sir. I had done this design as a tribute for him when he passed away and since today is his birthday, I thought this might be the right time to post this.

He was a great inspiration and his death is certainly a great loss to our country. May his soul rest in peace.

Halloween spider web nails!

Today's nail art as you can tell from the title is a Halloween themed one !!
What's a Halloween without cobwebs and spiders??!! Here's a spooky/friendly spider hanging from it's web.

Its a super easy design and here's how you can do it!

1) As always apply a base coat to your nails ro prevent them from staining.

2) Apply 2 coats of your favourite orange nail polish, you can also apply any other colour if you want.

3) Once that is dried,  apply white and black nail polish in concentric circles at the top corner of your nails,  quickly before this dries, take a toothpick or pin and drag the nail polish from the centre ring to the outer ring to create the web design.

4) For the spider, make a large oval with black polish for the body, add 8 thin legs and the eyes. You can also add a thin line from the web to the spider so that it looks like the spider is hanging from the web.

5) Finish everything off with a layer of top coat and you're done!

Happy Halloween everyone!!

Easy Tape Nails #1

You don't need to be a nail art expert to try these nails, all you need is just some tape.

You can do these on any length nails and you can use as many colours as you want.

Here's how you can get them on your nails:

1) Always start with a coat of base coat.

2) Apply 2 coats of your choice colour of base colour, in my case I used a grey colour.

3) Apply a quick dry top coat and let it dry completely before applying the tapes. This step is crucial to prevent the tape from ruining your base.

4) Now, for the tape, you can either use striping tape, or you can just cut regular scotch tape into thin strips. Press the tape on your palm a couple of times before applying it on your nails to reduce the stickiness.

5) Now apply a coat of your second colour, in my case I chose burgundy. Quickly remove the tapes before the nail polish dries to prevent chipping and dragging.

TIP: Peel the tape at a 45 degree angle for best results.

6) Finally finish off with a layer of top coat and your done! 😁😁😁
